I am watching the GOP convention tonight. I have seen nothing but black people. Am I watching BET or the party I joined? I just heard Bill Frist encourage everyone to call 1-800 for welfare. Am I watching the socialists or the Republicans?

As for William, People are people. The Blacks that have been shown at the convention so far (from what ive seen) have been individuals who have risen up from the ghetto and have made themselves into something. Proving that it can be done by anyone, regardless of race. Democrats have simply lied to Minorities for years into thinking that by asking someone to take care of themselves, that Republicans are racists.

All we ask is that people take care of themselves and of their own free will help their fellow man. We don't want forced charity aka welfare. We support charity that is truely that. From private organizations such as churches and non profit orgs. From private citizens that choose to help others.

Once blacks realize that people are willing to help them as long as they help themselves, then they will be able to succeed like the blacks that are on display at this convention.

William, a conservative is a conservative. And the way things are headed today you cannot afford to let pigmentation preferences cause you to reject the very people who will help to keep the lunatics in check.

Whether you like it or not, the truth is that a black conservative is the best thing to happen to the Republican party since the Civil War.
