I hate to see that... While the deaths are regrettable, they need training under tough conditions. War isn't a cakewalk, and good training and preparation are the key to survival.

I was selected for the pre-qualification training for the actual Delta Force course. A broken leg took care of that.

Obiwan is correct. SAS, Seals, Delta, etc., require the most grueling and dangerous training.

I always thought the point was to not do the enemies' job by killing your own men.

The more you bleed, suffer, etc., in training, the less you will do that in combat. Of that, I have no doubt.

So then, if you kill your entire platoon in training they will be invincible.
