My republican buddy’s wife got cancer. They couldn’t afford the deductible or copayment so they had a charity fund raiser.

Those women didn't decide for him to run around, pretending to be female. That was his choice. Ultimately, finding a way to deal with it is HIS responsibility; it is no one else's responsibility to suffer so that he can have what he wants.

It's not even an issue of whether or not he himself is physically dangerous to those women. The point is, they have already been traumatized, and his mere presence would further exacerbate that trauma, to the point where many of them would leave and risk their own health and welfare. Does their trauma and need to feel safe as victims no longer matter because it doesn't coincide with the PC line on how they "should" feel? That shelter was set up precisely for the purpose of helping not just with the cold and hunger and homelessness, but with the trauma of victims of violence. Is Tommy really suggesting that they should abandon their entire mission in existing, and the welfare of dozens of women, all in order to make one person who doesn't fit their mission parameters feel good?

Since she's not a woman, he should have been denied. Sounds to me like he wanted special treatment and people to ignore basic biology.
