Race is not as much tied with skin color as language.
And there is no question that there is a base Arab language group that goes to far back and is so independent, that is should then identify a race.

I think Arabs are part of a language group... Hebrew, Arabic, Amharic, Syriac... The ones who protect themselves from the sun are fair in my experience.
