The US has always been under certain influence of Billionaires. But now they are running the federal government, thumbing their nose at the Constitution, and firing people. The US is now an Oligarchy on the same level as Russia and Hungary. The firings by musk are not going to reduce the deficit. All executives know it is far more costly the rehire and train people, then keeping people that already have the experience. The who episode is to inflict pain.
