A boycott of Target, Amazon, Walmart and more in being planned for Feb. 28.

I got a Facebook message about it several weeks ago with the poster attached.

They misspelled February.

Kind of showed me who we were up against.
I just got back from the local Target. Same as always, althought this Target like all the others around here does not participate in identity notices.

I was out and about today. Parking lots seemed to have the usual amount of cars. I didn't spend a penny, but I didn't need to.

As soon as I post this, I'm heading from my office to Home Depot, and plan on spending several hundred dollars there and other major retailers.
Do your part, and fight back!

Consumers plan boycott of major retail companies on Feb. 28 for DEI rollbacks

Why?

The US has always been under certain influence of Billionaires. But now they are running the federal government, thumbing their nose at the Constitution, and firing people. The US is now an Oligarchy on the same level as Russia and Hungary. The firings by musk are not going to reduce the deficit. All executives know it is far more costly the rehire and train people, then keeping people that already have the experience. The who episode is to inflict pain. It is part of the trump Vengance Tour.
A good chunk of our tax money in state, local and at the federal levels go to the middle class and poorer classes. Government is huge. You do not see it. Oligarchy may have some merit. Especially those who have dystopian ideas.

I remember the homosexual boycott of Chic-fil-a

The stores were packed with customers and the company had its best day on record
All the Pastors were to encourage their Church members. They did one day, the Chick Fila lost their ass and had to apologize. I did not like their chicken. Went once before the edxplosion. Never went back.

I don't generally go shopping on Fridays.
Me neither. I went to Walmart yesterday. Found something I wanted, ordered online, be here tomorrow. Free delivery. I go on prices and quality , not what some idiot tells me to do/

I would go to Walmart today, but I need nothing from them right now.
I'm getting gas and thinking about mowing.
Whew, better you than me. We're still a couple months away from mowing season and we've had an "warm atmospheric river" for the last couple weeks--so the snow is gone too. WIN WIN, a couple of months off. LOL

Yes I have a job, but I'm the boss and I have the freedom to run around town if I want to.

Which reminds me, I just spent $74.29 at Walmart.
.

Being the boss can be a headache sometimes ... But it does have its perks.
I almost always go to Walmart on Fridays ... To get whatever this or that I need for the weekend.

I heard about the boycott before leaving and knew that wouldn't make a difference in me going ...
But I bought two of everything I could ... That wouldn't go bad before I got to using it ...
Like milk and produce might ... Just to make up for someone that might have stayed home.
