Maybe you should listen to the rest of it before making judgement.Sorry. I got about a minute into it and didn't hear any facts at all. I heard a mishmash of sophomoric and generally false impressions.
"...when I speak on campus..."
Jesus.
Everything they say is true.

Don't waste the other three minutes DGS, I did and it didn't get any better.
What I do find shocking Flopper is you actually thought this was worth posting. The most substance the video had was her showing her hairy arm pits as a badge of...I'm not sure what really. Nothing in the video was shocking or even coherent. Typical lib ranting bullshit.
No, the opposite of a feminist is not a misogynist. By definition a feminist is a person who believes that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. A misogynist is a person who dislikes, despises, or is strongly prejudiced against women.Facts? There is virtually nothing in that video that constitutes a fact. The majority of it is blubbering idiocy.
Let me give her a hint - men and women ARE different. That is not a case of sexism. It is not sexist to expect a woman to shave her armpits and not a man. It is simply the acknowledgement that men and women are different, desire different things and are not biological copies of each other. One of the true insanities of our time is the attempt to bury this is some asinine sea of PC thought. It is sickening.
You know, the opposite of a 'feminist' really is a misogynist. One is not accepted at all though - why is the other.

It's interesting that so many people should expect women to shave their armpits. Sleeveless dresses and lot of adverting about a hundred years ago convince women to shave their underarms. Before WWII and the shortage of nylons, leg shaving was not common.
The ignorant rant's you approve of? She didn't say anything on point or had a point in any of this video.Maybe you should listen to the rest of it before making judgement.

Not finding any substance in that video would be typical of a conservative, and not at all surprising. Everything she said is pretty much on point, but I do agree with you on the hairy armpits. Not sure what the purpose of those are, but it's her preference. Just not something I find attractive.
"In the West, the practice began for cosmetic reasons around 1915 in the United States and United Kingdom, when one or more magazines showed a woman in a dress with shaved underarms"No, the opposite of a feminist is not a misogynist. Link?
Before WW2 deodorant wasn't common either. But that's no excuse.
The video was shocking only in the sense that anyone believed there were demonstrable "facts" in it.
WHo cares how many women in Congress there are.If you look at the video carefully, you'll there are a lot of the facts such as number of women in congress, 700 bills to regulate a woman's body, number of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics jobs, number of media executives, and difference in what men and women make in a life time can be easily verified. I check on several and they were right on. Other comments such as boobs are used to sell everything from soap to burgers and movie ratings for male and female organisms are common knowledge.
I think the real problem that some people have with this video is not the facts but rather how they are presented. If this same information was presented by a 250 pound lesbian who's ugly as sin, no one would care because that's the kind of piece they would expect. However, for this to come from an attractive young girl with a huge internet following, 67 million hits on her videos and nearly a million subscribers to her web site; that is disturbing.

No, the problem is that many of those facts are irrelevant, some are simply wrong, others nugatory. Is it a shock to you that advertisers use sex to sell products? And didnt the early feminists support bra burning, and the like? didnt they support the idea that if men can go around shirtless, women can too?If you look at the video carefully, you'll there are a lot of the facts such as number of women in congress, 700 bills to regulate a woman's body, number of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics jobs, number of media executives, and difference in what men and women make in a life time can be easily verified. And the real problem most on the right have with the video is that it relates facts that conflict with errant conservative dogma.
Who cares? I thing you would be surprised at how many women in this country do care.WHo cares how many women in Congress there are.If you look at the video carefully, you'll there are a lot of the facts such as number of women in congress, 700 bills to regulate a woman's body, number of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics jobs, number of media executives, and difference in what men and women make in a life time can be easily verified. There are no bills to regulate a woman's body. That's the kind of nonsense I'm calling out here.
That sex is used to sell stuff is hardly new, interesting, or outrageous.
The real problem is you fall for this crap hook line and sinker.
