The U.S. surveys get periodic updates, reflecting new data and trends. The Stimulus proved itself credible, performing, and warranted--If expensive(?). Obama-Biden had created the Make-Work-Pay-Tax-Credit arithmetic, but further went reliant--like the Euro, Aussie, and Canadian economies--on the public works bias. One of my favorites(?)--was the project to roof some crappers at a Park at Mammoth Lakes, in California--as an example. It likely cost as much in high-paid salaries to administer--no new jobs--as it did to build--not low paying, but elevated pay rates.
The absence of an "Equal Protection Under Law" approach created the decades-long perception that Black Lives actually do not matter. High Tech and Defense Engineering jobs do matter--and to lots of exclusion, at that! Everyone else gets left behind.
The Republicans actually complained about low-income sectors: Finally getting a "Living Wage" on Unemployment. Probably some business owners were noticing that people unemployed were getting more take-home pay than they were, even(?).
Looters and plunderers mainly noticed that the police were over there, supervising the protest-control conditions. There was no staff available for the pricey stores. Up rolled the BMW's into Santa Monica/Brentwood/Beverly Hills, more or less en-masse. Anything copycat was likely noticed, nationwide. Southern California is Democratic Administration intensive, but not even on the Trumped-Up list of anarchists. These people do have money, and in the BMW's. The arithmetic "anarchy" can be regarded an academic concept, except among academics--mostly embarrassed by the whole thing(?)!
The Los Angeles Gang Movement(?)--upwards of 40,000 per weekend every Sunday at Venice Beach--actually knows better than to burn everything pricey, to the ground(?).
"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Academics at prayer, even--Matt 25: 14-30!)
