6th annual USMB March Madness pool

Utah State forces trurnovers (forced many by AZ) and is a legit team. Several times closed to 3pts in 2nd half.

AZ hit one late miracle 3pt shot way out top of key at shot clock=0 to go back up by 6pts late. Quieting USU on a run.

****
Arkansas is better than USU (similar). Very bad seeding for ARK. Pretty sure they were SEC TMT champions winning tough wild games.
I didn't see most of the game but yes turnovers is a wildcard that can negate Arizona's superior talent. In bounds plays and breaking the press I think will be key for the Wildcats beating Ark.

Three of the four #1 seeds remain, and all #2 seeds remain. Only Florida is gone.

That shapes up nicely for the Sweet 16, some strong matchups. Let's go Illini!

UConn - Mich. State, Illinois - Houston, and Iowa - Nebraska should be interesting games.

Marathonmike holds the lead, with last year's champion rightwinger in 2nd place thru the Sweet 16.
Victories tomorrow and Friday count for 3 points each

Arizona blows out Arkansas.

Been over 10 years since they made it to the elite 8.

If they can down Purdue (which they can), I am liking their chances to take it all.

They must have been saving it for Arkansas.

Blowout.

That's what they have to do against Purdue. Keep the pedal down and keep attacking the rim.
Final Four Baby......

#3&9 in the South play
#1&2 in the West play
1,& 2 still alive in the East and Midwest

If AZ gets pass Purdue, then the could fact 1,2,4 or 6. We'll see.

Duke is doing well. I'd love to have AZ face them in the finals (we owe them a beating in the final).

Percy 18.5 with only Illinois alive

Pupps has 18 points with Duke still alive

I am in last place with 14.5 points, but I have Michigan. Losing Iowa State was probably a fatal blow.

Next round games count for 4 points per victory

I checked. I didn't realize it's been 25 years since Zona was in the final four. Lute got them there four times.

They are the only four appearances.

I think they were in March Madness 25 years in a row, but the NCAA vacated two seasons.

Arizona's shooting is HORID

Missed several easy open shots.......

Illinois aint gonna stop this year, they got what it takes to win it all.

UConn and Duke, that should be a great game to watch.
