It can be repaired relatively quickly. It just shorts things out. Not long term like conventional bombs would do to power plants.

I have been without power due to hurricanes in FL and ice storms in KY and TN. No fun, but survivable compared to bombing the powerplants out of existence.

Maybe not the smartest move but maybe the only one they have. The thing is they could be right.

When our fists are sufficiently bloodied, swollen and sore even if Iran's face is swollen beyond recognition, as long as they're still breathing they more or less win the contest.

I'd hate to see our military start hitting civilian targets like power plants and water processing plants but if you're going to fight a war it never pays to fight it halfway.

I don't like the idea of victimizing the people of Iran one bit. . .

But "strategically" there is something to be said for hitting...
