This entire long, boring post misses the entire point....at least the Democratic Party has tried to help the poor and middle class.

The Republican Party makes no effort and they never will.

Yes, which is smart. The old system was an even worse mess. No healthcare system is going to survive if young people are not also forced to participate. You need young healthy people to help keep the costs lower for everyone else.

That is the only way that a privatized health care system can survive.

You keep whining about how bad the ACA is, but don't acknowledge how horrible the old system was. --

1) No coverage for pre-existing conditions. A death sentence for millions of Americans.

2) People who were unemployed could not get private health insurance. A total joke. If people got laid off from work, they could die from be unemployed....through no fault of their own. Of course, you ignore this, too.

At least you acknowledge the Democratic Party's good intentions. The Republican Party doesn't even have that going for it.

You just did.
I am sorry for the long post, I understand reading is not your strong point.

Millions paying high premiums and high deductibles still had no healthcare, except now they were paying for no healthcare because they couldn’t ford $5,000-$10,000 deductibles while pay $600 a month for a mandated policy. What was the point of having a policy you couldnt use?

Good intentions? Like lying to the American people about the mental health of a President? That was a move to keep power, there wasn’t a good intention there.

I really have no use for either party, they are both about party over what is best for America, both sides have more than proved that is what they are about.

Nothing to say about how fucked up the old healthcare system was before Obamacare....which I explained to you.

That tells me that you are intellectually dishonest and just not worth talking to. 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️

I told you, $600 monthly premiums and $5000-$10000 deductibles is not any better than no insurance when you are poor or middle class, you still can’t afford it amd now you are paying an additional $600 a month for no reason and making you poorer.

Before the mandates, employers had insurance for employees, most employees had to pay part of the premiums but the premiums were lower as were deductibles. After ACA premiums went up, deductibles went up and we were no better off.

Government involvement made things worse not better for the working class Americans, especially when Obama graciously extended employer mandates but didn’t extend employee mandates.

Except they actually pass bills sometimes that helps the poor and middle class. Like Biden's Infrastructure bill. Like Obamacare. Like Medicare and Medicaid.

The Republican Party only cares about the wealthy and it's been that way for 100 years.

Did Obama's takeover of student loans help make college more affordable?

The very best way to raise the price & reduce the quality of goods and services is to have someone other than the consumer pay for it.
This is at least doubly so if the government is the payee.
