The Ultimate Winner
I am sorry for the long post, I understand reading is not your strong point. This entire long, boring post misses the entire point....at least the Democratic Party has tried to help the poor and middle class.
The Republican Party makes no effort and they never will.
Yes, which is smart. The old system was an even worse mess. No healthcare system is going to survive if young people are not also forced to participate. You need young healthy people to help keep the costs lower for everyone else.
That is the only way that a privatized health care system can survive.
You keep whining about how bad the ACA is, but don't acknowledge how horrible the old system was. --
1) No coverage for pre-existing conditions. A death sentence for millions of Americans.
2) People who were unemployed could not get private health insurance. A total joke. If people got laid off from work, they could die from be unemployed....through no fault of their own. Of course, you ignore this, too.
At least you acknowledge the Democratic Party's good intentions. The Republican Party doesn't even have that going for it.
You just did.
Millions paying high premiums and high deductibles still had no healthcare, except now they were paying for no healthcare because they couldn’t ford $5,000-$10,000 deductibles while pay $600 a month for a mandated policy. What was the point of having a policy you couldnt use?
Good intentions? Like lying to the American people about the mental health of a President? That was a move to keep power, there wasn’t a good intention there.
I really have no use for either party, they are both about party over what is best for America, both sides have more than proved that is what they are about.
