The law began as a good thing designed to miss the occasional guilty person if it meant not convicting as many innocent people--- then the left got hold of it and turned it into a system where now it is almost impossible to convict guilty people, and the bigger the crime, the longer and harder it is to convict them.

Now it take years and millions of dollars to convict even the most guilty person of even the most obvious crime. That is, unless they are poor or republican, then your ass is grass.

Of course it would. Military member gets an order. Believing the order to be illegal he or she refuses to follow it. There is a charge of failure to follow a direct order and a court martial. The illegality of the order is an affirmative defense. It doesn't stand on its own.

That would be the responsibility of the General upon whom the POTUS gave the order to. Once the Commander accepts orders from the POTUS, it is the troop's responsibility to carry them out.

If every soldier in every branch of service questioned, or stopped to question every order, we'd have no military, which is clearly the intent of our enemies and the Left.

To conduct an investigation you must specify what crime took place, otherwise it is a fishing investigation and will result in the same ending as those perpetrated against Trump. "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime" doesn't work in our system.
