If one of those orders later proves in violation of the Constitution and you refused to carry it out, you better be prepared to prove it at your hearing and pray they don't put you before the firing squad first.

Senators and congressmen know little enough about the Constitution--- constitutional scholars themselves often disagree as to the meanings--- I've yet to meet a single jarhead serving along the front lines who was a "constitutional scholar" on the side to be able to meaningfully and dutifully question the "constitutionality" of any and every directive given him.
