Yes - it's absolute folly to ignore them. Democrats have paid for that - and it looks like they're willing to pay again - at the polls. I think it's more than that. It's how we've come to view democracy. We need to roundly reject Obama's "elections have consequences" mindset. The "consequences" of the election should be leadership dedicated to representing the values of entire country, not just those who voted for them.
