Now, an odd assembly, which includes liberals and conservatives, are holding that Trump’s behavior in the aftermath of the 2020 election, leading up to the January 6th riot, violated the 14th Amendment and should disqualify him from the 2024 ballot. It’s a longshot with wonkish undertone, but the issue is expected to be decided in the courts."

Now I don’t expect Joe Biden to be impeached and removed from office. I don’t even expect Hunter Biden to spend over a year in prison. Maybe that should happen but not in our nation today. We no longer live in a constitutional republic but instead a modern day Yankee banana republic with different rules of laws for elite Democrats and their families, a much tougher rule of law for almost everybody else and finally an ultimately oppressive rule of law for Trump and his associates where the FBI will break the law to get Trump.
