Did you bother to read the poll? The question wasn't about racism. It was looking at opinions about "American culture". It depended on what people thought American culture is and what it means to weaken or strengthen it. Since America includes all races, all races are included in the term "American culture". Only a true racist would think every issue revolves around race.

About 46% of white people said a minority majority in this country would weaken the nation, which is true, since the foundation of America is BASED on the Anglo-european culture. They say that not out of racism but because of empirical observation that none of the minorities involved tend to build technologically advanced societies as Europeans have, and whereas we have made for a rather inclusive society, minority races tend to be more protective of their traditions. And the proof of that is all these people keep moving HERE to our culture because the ones they built for themselves back home are often little more than shitholes.

Immigrants at a certain Population level are assimilated into American culture. However above that level, they assimilate us. We have essentially an endless stream of immigrants from Latin America who have established enclaves all over this nation where the occupants never need to speak English.
