40 people drown in France while trying to escape the heat of Global Warming

Minus the pejoratives I doubt your vocabulary even has 25 words
In 1970 (before they dumbed the SAT down) I got a 794 out of 800.

In the old days, intellectuals had to have a number of dictionaries at hand.

I had two 3 volume library dictionaries, one published in 1900. I had dictionaries of history, science and philosophy.

I had a few other dictionaries, but they didn't see much use.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to point out we play in different leagues.

Now that's projection :abgg2q.jpg:

and what good is your erudition if folks cannot see that for themselves but instead you feel the need to point it out to/for them?...that puts it on a par of/with "pseudo intellectualism"
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to point out we play in different leagues.
And I would be remiss if I did not graciously thank you for that.

Al Gore is looking good right now..

In France, officials say dozens of people have drowned during a record-breaking heatwave, as people desperately tried to cool off in rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water.

For years, climate deniers mocked warnings about deadly heat as alarmism. Now people are dying not only from the heat itself, but while trying to escape it.
This is one of the cruel realities of global warming. It does not only kill through heatstroke. It pushes people into desperate choices, strains public safety systems, disrupts schools and transportation, and turns ordinary summer relief into a life-or-death risk.

So when deniers ask where the climate crisis is, this is part of the answer: people drowning in search of a few minutes of relief from heat that should not be this extreme.
I did a search on drownings in France every year and it's 800-1000 people. You are an idiot.
