On Jan. 15, around 36 million households with children won’t get a payment that many had come to rely on over the previous six months. Thanks to Sen. Joe Manchin and every single Senate Republican, the expanded child tax credit lapsed, and Democrats aren’t sure how to move forward on restoring it.

How many Senate seats were up tor grabs again this year?

Well, seriously. This should be sort of a test of what some of us think was a mistake by the dems to reward people to not work. Schools are not closed for the most part. Parents can go to work. People "should" need jobs as after school care workers. Let's see if some folks come back into the work force. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Millions of Americans are stranded waiting for simple Covid tests in the bitter cold while there is a Biden Shortage. Not to mention the insane price of milk due to Biden Inflation having to overpay for their families. That is the real issue, not some Inflation 2.0 bill that rightfully was denied!

It'll help slow the inflationary spiral.

.

Thanks for sharing and I think you hit the nail on the head with that question.
It's a damn shame you could not figure out how the desire to get re-elected has more than a little to do with why the bill wasn't passed ...

I thought everything was supposed to be about equality for everyone. Why should those who have kids get more money than those who dont have kids?

Time for the lazy dregs to get back to work right Dimmer? And tons of seats will turn over in just a few months now that folks have seen how badly Poopeypants is doing.
