They did not release ALL Hostages as Trump demanded. Unfortunately he is deferring to Israel and allowing Israel to allow Hamas to play these games with the lives of the Hostages. Not the right thing to do but at least 3 more got out of this alive.

There’s no “reason” as far as Hamas is concerned.

It means Israel/US should negotiate a deal, the same as what has resulted in the release of hostages so far.
Resuming bombing now could seal a bad fate for the hostages.
Allowing Hamas to celebrate victory can be coped with, getting all the remaining hostages back in the near future should be the goal.
Cool, calm, rational minds must prevail.

It wasn't the best plan ever.

I wonder though what the 'best plan' would be? If that is your son/daughter, father/mother, sibling or whatever being held hostage, what plan ensures Hamas will release them? Are you willing to have them killed in order to punish Hamas for violating terms of an agreement? At the same time how much do you let dishonorable savages dictate the terms?

Such negotiations are walking a really dangerous tightrope. I don't envy those who have to walk it.

Israel already released another 300 Palestinian prisoners, after Hamas released 3 more Israeli hostages.

That means they've both complied with the peace deal.

If Israel wanted to escalate, they shouldn't have released 300 prisoners.
