27 Million Years

If republicans did not do what they have, the peasants working and earning 50 thousand dollars a year single or married total, would be in the 50% tax bracket at least. And that does not include the hundreds of other federal taxes. Then we get to the state, local and city governments and their taxes. And then the fees and authorities and monopolies and so much more.

That's ridiculous!

A married couple making $50K would be in the 49% bracket.

A single tax filer making 50K would be in the 63% bracket.

Voting Democrat for less spending LMAO

Your handle is ironic, but that's exactly how a troglodyte would respond. Your teeny bopper MAGA minds can only envision that attacks on Trump come from the left. You can't comprehend that many criticisms of him come from the right. Trump is not a conservative. He's a big spending, big government RINO who's convinced you he's your savior.

Much is made by some MAGAs that Donald Trump claims to donate his $400,000 annual salary.

What goes ignored is that Trump sucked $7.8 trillion of debt out of the economy during his first presidency.

Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill is estimated to add another $3 trillion to the debt.

In order to break even, Donald Trump would have to remain president, and donate his salary, for the next 27 million years.

And we are only less than six months into Trump 2.0.

In the modern era, every Republican president has exceeded the deficits of his Democratic predecessor.

CBO Estimates $3 Trillion of Debt from House-Passed OBBBA

Always remember, Bobby, Republicans are the party of fiscal responsibility.
Biden added 8.5 trillion, it doesn’t matter anymore because no one is holding either party accountable. If you vote for either party, you are giving them a blank check to spend.

Ridiculous!

Which part isn't true?
It is implied that Trump was donating his salary to pay down the debt. Based on what he said when he initiated this practice, he was not taking it for personal gain. He donated it to various departments within the government, not toward the debt.

However, he has not stated that he is currently continuing that practice. So the OP is using old information. He is attempting to inflame people with useless facts and old information.

So, based on that, I said it wasn't true.

I'm unwatching this thread now. Be well.

Isn't 3 trillion over 10 years much better than what the country has been doing? That's major progress over the status quo.

What about that $6.4 trillion monstrosity that Biden pushed for and Sinema and Manchin blocked? It seems that Democrats liked that spending, but Democrats don’t like Trump spending.

I am against spending, we need to cut more and then add higher taxes to get us back on track.

We need to cut everything we can first and then re-evaluate taxes. Democrats also were wanting to spend 50 trillion dollars fighting mother nature and would have done it if they could.

WOW! Never Trumpers in the Republican Party? 2015 called….they want their breaking news back

I don’t recall you caring when your Vegetable Messiah ran up even more debt, Simp..
But that was then, and this is now, and now is now.

So, there is that.

Trump's only getting started. He's less than six months into his lame duck presidency and he already piled on $3 trillion of debt to be added to the $7.8 trillion he ran up in his first presidency.

Why do you think he just asked for a record $5 trillion raise of the debt ceiling?

Literally a record.

He's not done driving our country toward bankruptcy at record speed.

By the time he's done, he'll be responsible for one-third of our total debt.'

So, you make a thread stating 3 trillion over 10 years and now you're saying the figure you used isn't really true?

What are you on about?

I stated quite plainly and clearly in the OP that when the current $3 trillion is added to his previous $7.8 trillion, it would take Trump 27 million years of his salary to pay that back.

What part is confusing you?
