I don't know if a 3rd round pick determines the future of a franchise for 5-10 years even if it's a QB. My point here being that it was just a bad pick given that Allar didn't show that he was that good in college, and I doubt was going to be drafted, in the 3rd round. The Steelers had 3 picks in the 3rd and he definitely wasn't getting drafted by any of the teams between their first and second pick. And even if he were it wouldn't be this great loss. The delta between Allar and the QB's who were left isn't that great. Not to mention that they drafted a QB last year who hasn't seen any time on the field.
Mainly curious how it works, thinking of the RAMS drafting the ALA QB:
Based on the provided search context, there is no mention of the Los Angeles Rams owner being involved in the 2026 NFL Draft. The materials specifically highlight the roles of General Manager Les Snead and Head Coach Sean McVay in making draft decisions, including the selection of quarterback Ty Simpson and other picks..
Other owners, DAL did "well" in this draft:
Yes, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is heavily involved in the draft process, serving as the team's general manager and primary decision-maker regarding roster construction. He has confirmed that the Cowboys are actively fielding trade calls and are open to exchanging both players and draft picks to optimize their selection strategy.
