2026 NFL Draft

I don't know if a 3rd round pick determines the future of a franchise for 5-10 years even if it's a QB. My point here being that it was just a bad pick given that Allar didn't show that he was that good in college, and I doubt was going to be drafted, in the 3rd round. The Steelers had 3 picks in the 3rd and he definitely wasn't getting drafted by any of the teams between their first and second pick. And even if he were it wouldn't be this great loss. The delta between Allar and the QB's who were left isn't that great. Not to mention that they drafted a QB last year who hasn't seen any time on the field.

Mainly curious how it works, thinking of the RAMS drafting the ALA QB:

Based on the provided search context, there is no mention of the Los Angeles Rams owner being involved in the 2026 NFL Draft. The materials specifically highlight the roles of General Manager Les Snead and Head Coach Sean McVay in making draft decisions, including the selection of quarterback Ty Simpson and other picks..

Other owners, DAL did "well" in this draft:
Yes, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is heavily involved in the draft process, serving as the team's general manager and primary decision-maker regarding roster construction. He has confirmed that the Cowboys are actively fielding trade calls and are open to exchanging both players and draft picks to optimize their selection strategy.

101 pick. McCoy (TENN) a steal to the Raiders? The top CB they are saying?

McCoy would be the best with two healthy knees. Only one is. The surgically repaired one apparently needs another surgical procedure, and he might miss this season (he missed all of last season too, his tape is from 2024)

And if and when they do, they will embarrass the morons who picked them that high.
In the 3rd? They weren’t drafted in the 1st rd. And no one is saying they should be. Absolutely zero people are saying they might be the best QB in their draft. (Though that would be less crazy than saying and holding on to the take that Rattler is)

And which team is having more success? Owners typically aren’t football gurus they are just people with a shit pile of money who wanted a toy/status symbol. Or their family bought the franchise long ago when you could get one for basically nothing. Art Rooney paid 2500 for the Steelers in 33. Either way they hire GMs and HCs to do the drafting and running of the team because it’s not their area of expertise.

Nussmier was not drafted by the 6th round, I don't know if he got drafted yet. That blows my mind, he was injured last year and played for dead man walking Brian Kelly at LSU. He has all the tools but was in a bad situation with Kelly sure to be fired and his injury, this guy can be coached up. GM's are clearly not impressed for some reason.

He went toward the end of the 7th to KC

If he recovers though, after sitting a year he could become a good one.

Raiders get a B+ Grade ( Lotsa upside and depth pieces and potentially the steal of the draft )

Best Available Day 3

QB -Pavia

Is he still available? I give him credit, he seems to be an overachiever, his cockiness is not going to translate as well in the NFL as it did in college. He seems a bit like a Doug Flutie type with an added edge to his personality.

If the One time top corner can get through Camp and participate in Pre Season activities and be ready to play by opening of the Season this will make Raiders Draft an A-

If your new QB does not get killed.

Pitt and AZ are both CHICKEN of signing Pavia and watching their very own fan base notice Pavia is better than both.

He is "abrasive" and we all have questions of how well he will handle "backup QB."

But he is really good, and much better than Beck and Allar....

Sometimes it works out and sometimes it don't.

Let's hope it does, kid is really a great player.
