2022 Senate Information

Make your Predictions.

Who holds the Senate after Nov 2022 vote?

So some Primaries we held on Aug 2nd.

Not just Senate, as the Title Suggests.
But this thread is to discuss Congress and Governors.

Looks like both Lake and Hobbs won in AZ.
RW'ers Love themselves some mini trump in lake.

Murray versus newly beloved Tiffany Smiley, even though NONE of you ever heard of
Smiley as of 2 months ago. AmIright?
Anyway, give up your HOPES for Smiley, Murray is AWESOME and she got 53.4% of the Vote.
The WA Primary advances the top 2 vote getters, regardless of Party.
NO! You are not right. And Murray is far from "AWESOME". She is a career socialist/communist apparatchik is does nothing positive for the state of Washington, or our Nation.

Barely half of eligible voters in WA voted in the primary, and in the past there has been conservative/GOP wins, so there's a chance it could happen again. Also it's only in the major urban areas/cities of about 4-5 counties out of 39 where the blue majority is, and tips the scales. Given the larger percentage of population there. However, failures of the Democrat mayors and governor in this state over the past few years are a prospect for voter shifts, since about half are 'independent' and can flux.

Subjective opinion here of mostly Left leaning pundits, and ones whom don't live in this state;

Tiffany Smiley Would Be the GOP’s New Star, but She’s in the Wrong State

...
Smiley is a former triage nurse who battled the Pentagon to allow her husband, blinded by a suicide bomber in Iraq, to continue to serve on active duty—breaking barriers for disabled members of the military.

Impressive stuff, to be sure, and the kind of biography that political stars are made of. Personally recruited more than a year ago by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Smiley filled the bill of a fresh face, a charismatic motivational speaker on veterans’ issues, and someone who could upset Murray in what was shaping up to be a Republican year.
...

For longest time Murray has declined to debate, and this concession could be due to the sponsors whom will likely bias the Q&A. Still, it is a start.

Senator Patty Murray agrees to debate with Tiffany Smiley

The so-called toss up races are these 8.

AZ
CO
NH
GA
NV
WA
PA
WI

CO and WA will go (D).
I'm sure of it.

That Leaves 6.
Any HELD position lost would result in a change by 1.

AZ, (D) Held,
NH, (D) Held,
GA, (D) Held,
NV, (D) Held,
PA, (R) Held, open Seat
WI, (R) Held.

So, If (D) hold the 4 seats above, and (R) hold the 2 seats above, the Senate will still be 50-50. Assuming there is NO HUGE upset among the other 29 races.

All of these races appear to be polling really even.
So, will there be ANY complaints of Voter Fraud, from either side, when these 6 races are decided.

I'm guessing OZ and Masters will throw a fit when they lose.
GA will be a run-off, so we will have to wait until December to see the results.

So discuss.

Why will Masters or Kelly Win in AZ?
Oz or Fetterman in PA?
