2000 was about 500 votes in one state. Even there I have always thought that the SC made a partisan decision and CHOSE the winner based on that.

This is different.

This election was not even close and involves FIVE states.

If the SC is allowed to again use it's power in an election like this one...democracy is done. We will never have another election in which our vote matters

What separates us from the various banana republics is not our republican system but a devotion to democratic ideals like a fair and inclusive vote, orderly transfer of power and rule of law.
