The article is behind a paywall but I assume they are trying to teach about what happened in the 2020 election? I'm pretty much against this. Leave politics out of the schools and really, let's not try to politic our children.

It's like that kids book mike huckabee is selling, to "teach our kids about Trump's accomplishments"...I'm a hard "no" on that. Let's leave the kids out of it ok?

My daughter is a teacher in Oklahoma. She left the public system to go to a charter school.

Being as how most of her students are minorities she is worried about raids.

She should be helping ICE by identifying those here illegally.

My daughter is a teacher in South Mexifornia, she works in the private school sector making less money because she refuses to educate Mexico’s people with American taxpayer cash…She has integrity that many don’t have.

I disagree. Leave politics out of the classroom. People don't agree about what happened that day. You'd have some people teaching it and some teaching against it (J6). They can read about it on the internet.

I'm just not a fan of pushing political views in thread classroom .

If they want to teach it as a moment in history, that's fine, as long as they don't put their own political views into it.
