2017 NFL Draft

I noticed the fans booing the commish.

it was funny the first 3-6 times, then it just got tedious. Have to give him credit for ignoring it.
He's a politically-correct asshole. A stooge for the Obama Administration. He tried to destroy Tom Brady over soft balls.

What he was really doing was attacking him for standing Obama up at the 2015 White House Super Bowl ceremony.

Looking forward to seeing if Deshaun can play.
He can play. Two consecutive national championship games in a row. Without him Clemson would have lost.

Damn right. Closest National Championship games in years.

The only issue I saw with him was that he tends to stare down his target when passing.

he's no worse than the other commissioners. Still, considering the draft was in Philly he's lucky he didn't get a chair thrown at him each time he went up there.

Worst. Fans. Ever.

Jabrill Peppers gone to Cleveland.

****!!!

Peppers faked a hamstring injury to avoid getting hurt in the Michigan bowl game....Harbaugh sent him up to the press box...didn't want him on the sidelines. Prima donna.....he has no position, and quit on the team that made him a star.

It's a tough decision, and I am loathe to feel sorry for College Football when they make gobs of money off of these kids. It's a two way exploitation, three way actually, if you consider that the NFL basically gets its minor leagues for free.

Lions took LB Jarrad Davis with the 21st pick....Consensus is he'll be the opening season MLB and call the defensive signals...a lot of weight on a rookie. Quinn won't put up with "character issues"....says a player has to represent 7 days a week, not only on Sundays. Detroit finally has a GM who knows what he's doing.

Not me....they get a full-ride scholarship and advance money from agents and boosters and a chance at million$ to go pro.

Not if they get hurt. And plenty of schools press their players to take easy schedules and worry about playing football not academics.

The cash from boosters is fading out at most schools, if it hasn't been eliminated. If it still goes on, it is minor money compared to what is being made by the schools.

I want to see every player go hard and play every chance they get. But I can't fault one if they try to protect the investment they have in their body. Especially if its a meaning less game.

It's all business decisions, even if the NCAA tries to pretend its not a business.

  1. Myles Garrett DE Cle
  2. Mitch Trubisky QB Chi
  3. Solomon Thomas DE/DT SF
  4. Leonard Fournette RB Jac
  5. Cory Davis WR Tenn
  6. Jamal Adams SS Jets
  7. Mike Williams WR LA Chargers

I cant believe you could even care about the ******* NFL draft after the motherfuckers in the NFL took your chargers away from you.

Bowl games aren't "meaningless", dickhead. Tough shit the schools make money off their players...the players are well compensated in free classes, fame, and women.....nothing you'd know anything about.

Football normally funds the school's entire athletics programs from volleyball to field hockey. Nobody is pretending the players aren't part of that equation....but look what a degree costs these days and figure that in.

Wow, you are really a hostile little prick, aren't you?

If it is a major bowl game it means something. If it is one of the other bowl games, it has meaning for the fans and the school admin. But if you think it is worth risking a serious injury, thereby costing the player millions of dollars, you are an idiot. Some players are big fans of their schools. For some the school is a means to an end. Players like Jaylon Smith, who was projected to go as high as 5th overall (with a projected salary of +$23 million) ended up injured and ended up with $4.42 guaranteed. So compared to losing almost $20 million, yeah the bowl game was meaningless.

As for me not knowing anything about free classes, fame or women? You haven't a clue how many free classes I had with my scholarship or how many women I enjoyed in college. To pretend you do is just bullshit.

Lions fan here, they had a huge hole at LB, just had to get a starting LB and I think Foster has too many red flags even if he is a better player. I don't think anyone else on the board would've made this team any better than Davis will, but he's gotta stay healthy.

Agree. Levy quit after getting the big contract and we haven't had a LB big AND fast enough to take on a TE over the middle until now. Davis is a big dude with 4.5 speed. Quinn is talking about recruiting team-captains as often as he can which means he wants guys who understand they are a piece not the whole puzzle....Patriots Football. Glad we got him. On to round 2-3 tonight...need an edge-rush DE and another CB. Hopefully Saturday, Jake Butt (UofM) is still on the board and we can snag him. Best TE in the country before the ACL tear...probably have to spend 2017 on the taxi squad so the knee is no longer an issue. BTW, if Quinn sneaks that punk Mixon past Mrs. Ford, I won't watch a Lions game until he's gone or in prison.

Nope, just know a punk and a fraud when I see one and I see you clear as day, boy.

LMAO!!! Oh I see what it is. You are still butt hurt over my comments about Michigan last year! Too funny. Even more so because I was right.

Yeah, keep pretending you know me. Great laughs.
