Two arrested, a third ran.

Run to wear? These guys will fold like a cheap suit I'm sure.

Some people online asked how they can arrest these two in Boston but none in NJ...

Boston law enforcement officials arrested two men after they allegedly flew a drone “dangerously close” to Logan Airport from a now decommissioned health campus on an island in Boston Harbor, according to police.

Boston police said 42-year-old Robert Duffy of Charlestown and 32-year-old Jeremy Folcik of Bridgewater, Massachusetts were arrested on Saturday and charged with trespassing, though additional charges could possibly come forward.

At about 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, a Boston police officer who specialized in real-time crime surveillance detected an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) flying “dangerously close” to Logan International Airport, police said.

Using UAS monitoring technology, the officer was able to track down the drone’s location, altitude, flight history and operator’s location, pinning him on Long Island, and island in Boston Harbor.

Due to the drone’s proximity to the airport’s airspace, police were able to coordinate with other resources including Homeland Security, State Police, Federal Communications Commission, and air traffic controllers to address the situation.

What if our government has lost track of a nuke and are using sniffer drones to try and locate it?.... that would explain a lot...

It's not part of the drone mystery in N.J. but more likely a lame effort by the mainstream media to deflect attention from Biden's lack of interest.

Lock em up Dano

Don't confuse private drone operators with these SUV sized drones that are appearing en mass over multiple states. Private citizens CANNOT PURCHASE OR OPERATE drones that large, it is illegal.

I don't know how big this thing is, but it costs the same as an SUV. Said its max weight is 15lbs.

I just cope that suit wheres well. :smoke:

Drone mystery continues in New Jersey as experts offer new theories about sightings

There is no mystery. We have gotten the full official government explanation from Jack Kirby:
"The US government has no idea what these drones are, what they are doing or where they come from, but the one thing we know for sure is that they are doing nothing criminal, dangerous, illegal, or alarming, and are not coming from outer space, inside the planet, the Moon, or from anyone connected with Russia, China, North Korea or Iran" and most likely are just weather balloons or ordinary manned vehicles doing everyday stuff and are of no concern to the Biden administration or any of its agencies, so, if you see one hovering over your house looking in your window, be assured there is no cause for alarm." :smoke:

lol

My son got cited twice, when he was like 11 or 12, for flying a drone in protected airspace. It was up in the Bay area. Wifey was teaching at SFSU at the time, so the authorities were lenient. :p

I couldn't find any dimensions but there is a pic with the drone next to the controller that makes it pretty easy to estimate it size. Maybe 3 ft distance between the 4 props. Clearly not the huge drones we have seen in videos for the last month.

“Dangerously close?”

If they did not enter restricted airspace then they committed no crime

But there are other rules about drones that they may have violated

If so I have to wonder how they could be so stupid?

I just heard a report last night that more drones were spotted in NJ and the guy got a binocular on them and saw that it was spraying something.

Apparently everyone except the woke obama-biden FBI knows where to find them

That island is in the very inner ring of Logan's Class B. About 3 miles from the airport. It's controlled airspace from the surface to 7000'.

Definitely a "no-drone zone".
