Yeah but I don't know why it wasn't letting me take a piece as I was playing with a bot and they foolishly gave me their queen (or king but it looked more like a queen with the crown style) and I couldn't get my pawn to jump it.

JoeMoma The way that I play chess is that anybody can take a piece at any time and get it as long as that piece goes in that direction.

Working on it right now but I was confused because I remembered the pawns moving straight. Possibly at the beginning and one after that. I didn't remember about the part about them being capturing diagonally.
