I just got done playing Fort Fun Indiana and was able to pull out a victory.

I was white and offered up one of my favorite openings, which is the Evans Gambit which he declined.

I did have trouble putting in the time limits however. I originally put in for 15/10 but wound up with a 30 minute, for whatever reason

Because of this, if Fort wants a rematch it would be Ok with me, although both of us only used up about 10 minutes or so.

Ive been watching stockfish and what looks like a normal move he will say is "rubbish" because in 14 moves youre wrecked

It takes a good 1000 games or so getting your head bashed in before you start to improve, at least that was my experience when I first started.

BREAKING NEWS: Mr. Friscus prevails in cop-out victory over Orangecat

As the two men entered the arena, amidst some confusion setting up the game, the parameters were shifted to a static 10 minute game.

The first game Friscus was up a few pawns early but ceded them back in the Middle game. Trades occurred until all pieces were captured and only 2 kings remained.. a draw.

We stayed with the 10 min parameter that ended up being Oranges downfall. He was racing a pawn to queen-Dom with a rook in tow, as my rook flanked and blocked the pawn’s advancement. We had gridlocked pawns, my knight was pawn-supported by his king, his bishop was stuck by his king. It was a CAREFUL game that had some pivotal moves. Sadly, the time ran out. We may have been moving towards a draw again, but Orange gracefully ceded even though I offered a 15/10 final game (aka paid him off)

A glorious cheapskate victory for Friscus… we go now to a live analysis of the game on ESPN 8: “The Ocho”, where Gary Kasparov and crazed Bobby Fisher will argue who would have won that game had time not lapsed

And remember kids.. PLAY 15/10!!!
