13 House Republicans who need to be ousted

"What part of the bill do you object to?"
The good poster Grampa Murked responds: "All of it"

You see, poster CandyCorn, that is the problem.
We expect too much from some of our posters here.
They don't read. They don't fact-check. They don't do due diligence.
But they do do the following. Prolifically. (again from Grampa Murked with an assistant):

  • "FUCK YOU.................. 2 MORONS in this thread found a way to verbal vomit their TDS into this thread."
  • "Any stupid RINO that gives aid and comfort to the Democrat filth's agenda of destruction"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know, it is a tough room to play to, but there are unexpected treats.

For example, seeing posters like above create the binary reality of the 'informed' vs. the 'uninformed'.........helps all of us clarify our responsibilities. Such as --- be aware of the world you live in; study about it; learn stuff; check with people who know more than you. Be open minded.

That's kinda sorta sounds like the Boy Scout's creed, I know.....but it does work.

Informed people know that.
Uninformed people, well..............

Well, I hate to say it but Grumps represents the majority of posters here. Opposition is the default position. While one would hope that there would be some independent study of the subject...most on here don't bother with the study.

Like when Joe botched the Afghanistan withdraw; several left leaners wouldn't criticize him. Why? Dunno. It was clearly a clusterfuck.

The Infrastructure package that was just approved by Congress and is on the President's desk...

They tried to get too cute with the graphics but it is the "nuts and bolts" stuff that nearly everyone with 2 working brain cells would be for.

Waterway improvements, public drinking water improvements, rail improvements, highway improvements, airports, public transit, power grid, expanding broadband. It benefits everyone and only partisan idiots would oppose it...especially in light of being for it when Trump was in office.

Trump will put it into projects that will grow the econony: Airports and real infrastructure.

Trump's crew has talked about massive infrastructure needs that they want to address. The sole issue that has driven Matthew since I joined. Suddenly it plays second fiddle to bullshit side issues.

Matthew is the new Fake Jake

What is really sad is that this is a drop in the bucket. Really...how sad is it that a country like Montenegro has high speed rail that serves the entire nation. Somehow, they were able to accomplish this but we cannot? I mean...just imagine the containers out in Los Angeles. They get loaded onto a truck...one at a time. If they need to get to Kansas City...that takes 3 days. A high speed train can have it there in hours; not just one container...hundreds.

This so called infrastructure bill has very little infrastructure in it and the above morons voted for it anyway.
In this so-called bill, can you break down the money allocations for us, so we don't have to 'just take your word for it".

It's not my job to verify your claim, that's your job.
If it's in this thread, then just direct me to the post number.

I've read the talking point claiming just 9% is actual infrastructure.
If that's the case, just show the breakdown.

Is HWY construction Infrastructure?
Is Building Bridges considered infrastructure?
Is ............. here is what I've found, but I have no idea if you are seeing the same Bill.

Transportation

  • Roads, bridges, major projects: $110 billion
  • Passenger and freight rail: $66 billion
  • Public transit: $39 billion
  • Airports: $25 billion
  • Port infrastructure: $17 billion
  • These total $257 Billion
  • I think these listed above ^^^^^^ are Non Debatable Actual Infrastructure.
  • Transportation safety programs: $11 billion
  • Electric vehicles: $7.5 billion
  • Zero and low-emission buses and ferries: $7.5 billion
  • Revitalization of communities: $1 billion

Other infrastructure

  • Broadband: $65 billion
  • Power infrastructure: $73 billion
  • Clean drinking water: $55 billion
  • Resilience and Western water storage: $50 billion
  • Removal of pollution from water and soil: $21 billion
  • These remaining in Black total $291 Billion

  • Together, these add to $548 Billion.

    So, stuff is missing.

Help us fill in the blanks, BECAUSE,

LLLOOOOLOL.
You are bad at MATH.

Even if it is JUST 257 Billion that is considered Real Infrastructure, that is still 257/1200.

Which is 21.4%.
How in the fuck do you get < 10%. (hint.....this symbol < means less than ). LOL.

This ^^^^^^ is a public school 6th grader making an error in calculation and spelling.
257 billion out of 1.2 trillion (1,200 Billion) is NOT less than 10%, and
you math is WRONG.
If it's not wrong, which it is, then explain your impeccable math skills.
BTW, your spelling of impeccable is incorrect.
But sure, your math skills are even finer.
