Were King Josiah and the prophet Zephaniah related?

It seems so but there is a spelling difference in the King James Version of the Bible.

The KJV also translates epairō to world. Since 1611, Christians have been waiting for the end of the world.

Don't trust the KJV.

The word of the Lord which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.

Zephaniah 1:1

And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

2 Kings 21:24

This is hillarious. The people hates King Amon so much that they preferred an 8 year old.

Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

20 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as his father Manasseh did.

So Amon was Josiah's father. Manasseh was Amon's father.

Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.

2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.

3 For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

So Hezekiah was Manasseh's father. That makes King Josiah a descendant of King Hezekiah. Is this the same as Hiskiah in Zephaniah 1:1? If so, King Josaih and Zephaniah are closely related.
