I think they do. This problem will be addressed with policy and smart economics...not by asking people to stop travelling, or to stop eating. I find your question completely irrelevant. And if you decide the truth of climate science by who flies where, then you are acting like a moron. .Then tell me, why don't the those who publicly warn us of climate change issues take it seriously themselves?
That answer is not going to cut it. If you want to change peoples behavior, you need to lead by example. It is as simple as that. You know perfectly well that flying in expensive private jets and buying multi million dollar ocean front properties is a far cry from simply traveling and eating. But, look, if those folks want to convince people to make sacrifices in their lives while exempting themselves from those same sacrifices, good luck to them. I am surprised you don't see the messaging problem here. Looking down your nose at people and calling them morons isn't a great way to influence people.
