No, it won't destroy them, but it also won't incentivize them to invest here in the US economy either. Right now money from both foreign and domestic investors is not flowing into our country, except to hold our Treasuries. It's financing growth in emerging markets elsewhere. Allowing the tax cuts to expire is a de facto tax hike and will not help the current situation.

That is a separate (but related) issue. You are referring to our trade policies and regulations pertaining to foreign trade, import tariffs and affiliation. Those issues were adequately addressed by a carefully conceived structure of regulations which have been decimated by Reagan, Bush-1, Clinton and Bush-2.

those regulations must be restored. The problem is Obama has never so much as mentioned them, which is why we need aggressive, socialist-oriented leadership in Washington. And those American corporations which disapprove of such a business environment are free to pay an exit tax and move lock, stock and barrel to any foreign country where they will feel more comfortable.

We'll see how much better they will do as ex-patriate corporations. But if they want to come back it will cost them.

Reducing the amount going into the stock market will increase the amount of bank business loans, and increase wages & benefits & hiring. Mainly because stocks are not in circulation and reduce the amount of available cash for investments available from banks. IMO

I don't think the VA has actually had a RIF, but they are decreasing numbers by attrition just as the war wounded are returning home needing care.
