YOU are more dangerous than terrorism

One, you have no right to scream and yell in order to disrupt a political meeting: that is a public disturbance, a misdemeanor punished by jail time and or a fine.

Two, moderate Republicans are not into violence or the threat of violence.

Three, you confuse yourself with Jesus? Then be willing to accept quietly the punishment that comes with your action as did Jesus.

My advice to you is to not post again on this subject until you ponder and pray about it since it is clear you do not understand the basic tenets of Christianity.

One, I have every right to scram and yell. Believe it or not, that is part of free speech.

Two, you are not a moderate Republican, you are a reactionary progressive.

Three, I never said I was Jesus, I just pointed u=out how ignorant you are about Christians. What punishment did Jesus get for driving the money changers out of the Temple? For calling the scribes and the Pharisees hypocrites? For refusing to obey laws that were wrong?

I don't have to ponder and pray about anything. You are the one who is confused, and attempting to tell me what it is I believe. That type of behavior always amazes me, especially when atheists engage in it.

I define myself and no one else. Others are always better able to define themselves.

So prove it if you can. That's the point, and I make you look silly.

For starters, free speech is not a deterrence to public disorder. Did you really not know that?

Of course I know that, the Governments of Iran and China point that out every day. What you seem to be confused about is your concept that being civil trumps anyone's free speech rights.

Another example that shows how public order trumps free speech.

Superheroes Allowed Back On Hollywood Boulevard Thanks To Federal Judge's Ruling - Los Angeles News - The Informer

Oops, that shows the opposite.

Please, keep making me look silly.

Not applicable here, kiddo You have no right to disrupt a public meeting by acting like an ill-tempered four year old. That's what happened here in 2009, and the three grown "4 year olds" got a time out, a hefty fine, and a strict warning that if it happened again that they would be in county jail orange uniforms picking up trash in the city park across from the court house at noon so there townspeople could come down and watch the show.

Go cry elsewhere.

I never act like a 4 year old, and I never let anyone treat me like one either. Your problem is you are confusing who was acting like children, and who was trying to treat them like adults. The politicians all got together and decided that they did not have to answer to the people who elected them. They refused to answer questions, and told their bosses, us, that they did were not responsible to anyone but the powers that be. When the adults in the room refused to be treated like children, the politicians responded by cursing them out, and calling the police on them.

You are defending the wrong people here, because those people in office are responsible to us. It does not work the other way around. I don't expect a committed statist like yourself to understand that, but facts do not change just because they confuse you.

I have no idea if you are telling the truth, but here our congress person answered every question calmly and fully. When several people did not like the answer, they started yelling, would not obey police orders to sit down and act normally, were arrested, were escorted out in handcuffs, and taken down the hall to where the judge was reading a novel, waiting for any such idiots.

That town hall meeting and the several we have had in the last 17 months have all been informative. Everybody gets a say. Everybody gets to disagree agreeably.

Would you be able to work calmly in that environment if you disagreed with your congress person, who told you "nope, you are wrong, and I am not going to change"?

Irony much?

QWB has never wanted to believe just how much he projects his inner angst on others. He likes to do that to me, but, hey, I can handle it. I have been dealing with disturbed far right reactionary wing nut wacks for decades now in the party.

Search YouTube, there is plenty of evidence that I am telling the truth.

When have I ever told you that you have to believe a certain way because you say you are a certain thing?

There are people like that in the Communist Party?

The greatest threat that faces the US isn't terrorism, or Russian nukes, or socialism, or Obama, or the new oligarchs........

The greatest threat facing America is YOU!

Polarization is the most dangerous threat facing our nation today. Political polarization, social, ethnic, you name it.

A house divided can not stand.
That is painfully true! And I am certain it will be our downfall.

While there are advantages to diversity it retains one major flaw, which is the impediment to fundamental solidarity, a sense of alikeness that begins in the cradle and is maintained throughout individual development. It is the adhesive of preconscious familiarity.

The United States is an alienated society. The details of that condition are clearly laid out in Dr. Erich Fromm's, Escape From Freedom. (Available in paperback from Amazon.)

You reflect the rigidity and inhumanity of the CPUSA. I have belonged to the Republican Party all of my adult life and have voted more than 80% of the time for Republican candidates. I serve as a party chair and officer here and have for a long time. So I certainly have no trouble to tell you not to stain the Republican Party with your filthy values.

Well you told him and I quote: "attempting to tell me what it is I believe. That type of behavior always amazes me". So you're amazed at people who tell other people what they believe.

BUT you also told him he was "Two, you are not a moderate Republican, you are a reactionary progressive." Which is telling him what the believes.

You don't see the irony in saying you don't get it when people tell you what you believe in-yet you tell others what they believe in? You're either a raving hypocrite, or are just plain old crazy. :cuckoo:

The greatest threat to America is the myth that lowering taxes for the rich will help the economy.

Really? and here I thought it was stealing from the rich so you feel better, expecting it to actually help people.

To a lefty that translates into, do it my fxxing way or hit the highway..

No thanks..I'll stand my ground with those who wish to see our country brought to her knees.
