Or pro-gun students? How about pro-merit students opposed to affirmative action? Or pro-american students opposed to illegal aliens?

Schools should not take sides on political issues or they're gonna have a mess on their hands.

You seem to think school kids would be interested in walking out for those things.

Well, Bull, we both understand that it is a matter of what those kids are TOLD to be interested in walking out for, ENCOURAGED to walked out for and SUPPORTED for wanting to walk for.

I don't think they had to be TOLD much to dislike the possibility of being killed. Attending the funerals of their classmates was probably enough to convince them.

Sure, yeah, then they all called each other up, organized and decided to all leave school in the middle of the year and go on a walk out to Washington DC, and their folks told them to wear clean underwear, be careful, take lots of cash and call them when they arrived.

So are you gonna organize an anti-abortion walk out or just whine about the one that already happened/

There’s another thread about a teacher who had the audacity to raise this question. She is now on administrative leave.

School kids are killed in highway crashes more often than by shooters. Why don't they walk out for that? THINK

There are students who do not want to ban guns. Would they also have the support of the administrations and teachers if they wanted to walk out and protest? Of course not. Only those students echoing the party line are cheered on by the school authorities.
