Will Trump's ego let him win in 2020

Will Trump become presidential after Mueller, or will his bitter tweets keep alienating voters?

  • Trump is all about him, so his tweets will be more bitter, biting, and childish, alienating voters

    Votes: 12 80.0%
  • Trump will finally learn how to become more presidential, winning ever higher approval ratings

    Votes: 3 20.0%

  • Total voters
    15
You are a Trump supporter so that means that you are the sheep, ignorant and delusional. A typical member of the cult of Trump.

SEE...this is the delusional, reality-denying, soul-consuming HATE I am talking about, the hate the Russians manipulated back in 2016 to get you to organize and march for them. It is also un-supported, unfounded, unjustified hate, as proven by Mueller's report:

NO EVIDENCE
NO CRIME
NO COLLUSION

2 years of wasted time, wasted tax dollars...and partisan wasted hate.

Such a shame...

No one has been proven to be proven criminals or traitors. Trump supporters are the biggest traitors I know.
AGAIN, Why are you invoking the name of a dead American War Hero in the defense of proven criminals and traitors? Have you no shame?

I'm a Trump supporter. However, Trump is obviously not as smart as he thinks he is, otherwise he wouldn't keep alienating voters he needs to win in 2020.
1. His attacks on John McCain do nothing but alienate voters, especially ex-military
2. His tax cuts for the top rate get 83% of the benefit while the Debt grows potentially reducing entitlements, he needs to work with the democrats to balance the FY2020 Budget. Even if it takes a 3% Fed sales tax and raising the top tax rate.
3. He promised infrastructure spending, yet the Budget has no money for it? Cut defense spending.
4. He promised to lower the cost of drugs, especially insulin. WTF?
5. He promised to eliminate the deficit and lower the Debt by growing the economy. That was Kudlow's bullshit, the economy won't do more than 2%-2.5% long term. Where are the fiscally responsible adults?

Trump's approval is about 44%, via RCP, not good enough
FXN poll today showed Biden beating Trump in a landslide 47% to 40% in 2020

Lets take a poll, will Trump start becoming more presidential to win votes, or will his ego keep alienating voters?

1) Agree
2) Agree
3) No. We need defense spending as many private employers depend on it and it brings innovation. In his 2nd term he needs to address entitlements. We are living longer. Raise the retirement age to 75 for those 40 and under. Be more vigilant with SSI and Medicaid payments. $1Trn of fraud in SSI since 1997 I heard today? Don't have a link as it was on the radio.
4) I think that needs to be addressed, agreed.
5) Yeah, I agree big problem but the Dems want to spend more and tax more, also not a strong solution.

Biden or any Dem candidate still have to outdebate Trump and win the swing states. Very early.

(A Trump supporter), yeah right. A big set of balls goes along with a big ego and it's about time republicans had one.

I think he wins just on the economy unless Wisconsin flips. His tariffs hurt Mich workers who voted for him, and Pa was a Comey flip and women couldn't stand Hillary, for good reason.

Fla or Texas or Ariz aren't gonna flip imo.

But he is not a man who charms. LOL

1) Fuck JohnMcCain, he's a jerk, that was far more petty than Trump, he fucked the country because of his ego........I didn't like him before and certainly not after....dying does not make you a good person
2)I don't know about those stats, but you sound like a democrat like AOC that doesn't understand taxes and how things work. And no sales tax if there is an income tax....one or the other
3)He needs help from democrats on infrastructure......what are you wanting Trump to do?
4)He has taken some action and has lowered some:
Trump's Dramatic New Proposal To Lower Medicare Drug Prices By Linking To An International Index
Trump Officials Move to Lower Drug Prices by Passing On Rebates to Patients
and here is what the white house plans are:
President Donald J. Trump Is Lowering Drug Prices for American Patients and Saving Taxpayer Dollars by Confronting Global Freeloading
5)The economy is growing.....chill man it takes a bit of time. How would you balance the buget?

1. Its not about McCain, its about the votes that Trump loses by attacking McCain. 2020 is all about votes, agreed?
2. The deficit is $900b a year and rising. To cover that we need the top rate raised ~7% and a 3% Fed sales tax, probably a stock transaction tax too. I am a fiscally and socially conservative Republican.
3. If the infrastructure is crumbling fix it. Just saw "Crazy Rich Asians", Singapore looks amazing. The US cities generally look like shit by comparison. Eliminate welfare and medicaid if we have to. Work or die.

4. Just googled this, so Trump's initiative isn't hitting the street yet.
"Diabetes Management's digital edition reports that the cost of insulin has increased from $100 to $200 per month to $400 to $500 per month, depending on the brand. Diabetics with no insurance must pay those costs entirely out of pocket."
5. The top tax rate needs to pay more, period. We need the Budget balanced or we start losing entitlements. Remember, "only little people pay taxes"

It the economy stays strong, he'll win despite himself. The alternative is a socialist carnival.

Both Biden and Sanders beat Trump. He had better start mending fences before he loses.
Fox Poll: Biden, Sanders Top Trump in Hypothetical Race
Those polls are nonsense....they always say that.....He would destroy Sanders....Biden is about the only democrat that has a shot to beat him

Fox News Poll: Biden, Sanders top Democratic preference

you know, you listed some very good reasons why nobody in his right mind would ever vote for Trump, right after you said you support Trump? how does that happen? do you really think trump does anything for any other reason than to either make money or to stroke his ego, which means being elected? he is neither republican or democrat...he does not a damn thing about the military, about the economy, about science, about how to not go bankrupt 4 different times...and because spews constant lies, panders to bigots and racists and sexists, that is supposed to be enough to get him elected? how in the wide wide world of sports did this asshole ever get more than a thousand votes?

In a one word answer....JOBS. Navarro and Lighthizer are the best reason for his re-election. Trump needs to act the part of president before he loses based on his personality. Trump won in 2016 in spite of never-Trumpers, in spite of the MSM, in spite of Hollywood, in spite of the FBI, DOJ, and deep state investigations, because voters wanted a major change in DC. Obama said that manufacturing jobs are not coming back, Trump is working to bring good jobs back. The economy is Trump's ticket to re-election.
more jobs per month for the last 4 years before trump. are you sure you know your facts? sure, trump hasn't screwed up anything except have the largest monthly deficit in history DESPITE a healthy economy, and the GDP growth is about the same, and the jobs created each month are about the same and there has been no real influx of "jobs coming back" or no cessation of "jobs going out." so what are you talking about? that the economy is roughly the same, except for huge ass deficits?

Don't forget that the Fed aggressively raised rates for Trump compared to easy money for Obama.
This is the Labor Participation Rate, total number of people working. It declined under BO and is going up under Trump.
Agree that the Debt is a serious issue, lets see what Nancy and the dems plan to do about it since they need to do the FY2020 Budget.

There will never be a 2020 budget with Nasty in the House and Chuckie in the Senate.

Trump said he will only sign a Budget that went thru normal order.
A continuing resolution is with GOP Budget priorities.
Nancy has a tiger by the tail.
It will be fun watching her try to get the FY2020 Budget thru the House.
They need to pass something by September or run out of money.

Democrats don't care. They will point fingers at the Republican, bitch, moan and complain in the media, and we will shutdown the government again.

The question I ask, why are you a Trump Supporter?

By you own admission:
  • Spends like a drunken Sailor but not on Infrastructure or Defense.
  • Insults the Military
What successes are there really...
  • Education - Put a person in charge who looks clueless
  • Foreign relations - Let's just put it that no other country leader wants to stand beside him other than China, Russia and North Korea. Where are the allies?
  • Trade - The easy war is not so easy
  • Healthcare - How could we know it was complicated? Seriously...

Why do you lie?

Is it a character flaw, ignorance of reality, or is it just your poor upbringing?

My father worked hard almost every day of his life in almost every type of manual labor you can do. He lived to age 75.

Our biggest problem at my government contractor company is that most of our people are in their 50s and having to spend more and more time of our lives just trying to be able to make it to work. Some occupations put a little more wear and tear on the body and the stress that often accompanies the job. Those people will be disabled long before 75, so you just accomplished nothing.

lt was trump who shut it down last time, by telling Turtle Boy McConnell to not even vote on the budgets the House sent over to the Senate. why do so many trump voters not have a clue about reality? which came first- their total ignorance of current events and facts OR their cult like allegiance to a lying pig like Trump? and does it really matter? either way, they are screwing the hell out of our country.

Right now the only person that can defeat the annoying orange is the annoying orange.

If the economy stays strong

Big if. Fed doesn't see that for 2019-2020.

Incoming data is looking shaky and with government shutdown we may be very close to 0%, or even slight contraction in GDP growth in the Q1

Not criticizing but do you have a specific link or links?
I have not heard of contraction in the economy for this quarter anywhere.

your quotes at the bottom of your post about trump being an orange conman and a total ass-douche, and then you say Trump is vile and his detractors moreso....Are you bi-polar, much?
