Bill Clinton is famously the 2nd President of the United States to be tried under articles of impeachment. The National Security problem appears to have been related to Oral Sex. It is not clear that this is entirely deprecating of women--since is also allegedly consensual(?)!
Everyone had a lot to gain, actually: If nothing was to be gained by the Trial by the Partisan Congress, which was embarrassed.
Does this at all compare favorably with the allegations about the Catholic Church, specially Pope Alexander VI?
