This is a 6 part series on Netflix and I cannot recommend it. There is so little I can find out about antiquity, so few shows produced anymore about the Roman Empire or the story of the greatest general of all time, Alexander, that I had to watch this series. I was not entirely disappointed, but neither did I find the series particualrly interesting, I found the acting, at best, average, it was clearly made on a low budget, and I wanted to see a series about his entire short life, and this series is strictly about his battles with the Persian Empire, and nothing else.
This series also has constant interruptions by various scholars who have to explain the story to viewers, and one of these scholars is highly annoying. What I did like was footage of the ongoing excavation in Alexandria, and the how they have found the main road 30 feet below ground that may have led to his tomb. His sarcophagus has never been found, but it may lie buried nearby.
