Will bill Clinton campaign for obama?

Read the last sentence of the quote and tell me he wasn't digging at obama. bill clinton chooses his words very carefully. He would not allude to the fact that obama had no prior executive experience without a damned good reason.

No.

It's saying that Romney is qualified to be in the White House. Clinton..despite what the rubes keep blathering..is very much a gentleman.

You won't hear that sort of respect coming from Republicans. They called Clinton a commie, rapist, and every fucking name in the book.

pfeeesh, do you see Bush running around campaigning for people?
that is a gentleman...and Bush was called every vile thing people could think up..
Clinton just burned Obama and it's funny as heck..maybe they won't have him interview anymore..

It kind of reminded me of McCain basically campaigning for Obama.

Only now we have Clinton campaigning for Romney

This is the problem with American Politics. Clinton is trying to speak as an adult..but only children are listening. And this is the sort of crap that passes as "adult talk" from the right..

LOL, Clinton and other Democrats are openly refuting the only chance Obama has, slandering Romney's business record.

Nobody is slandering Romney's business record.

He made himself over a quarter billion dollars.

He was very successful.

Bush was pretty successful at enriching himself too.

The Obama's are doing a fine job of it too..she has a new book coming out.
she's traveling all over the country on OUR DIME promoting it..

This is Michelle Obama's first book. She got no advance payment, and plans to donate all her proceeds to the National Park Foundation for programmes that promote gardening and healthy eating, and to help care for the White House garden

well she is not doing it for profit and it does cover a story about self reliance and eating well from your garden.

It is a tradition for first ladies to use books to advance their causes. Hillary Clinton wrote the bestseller "It Takes a Village," about the importance of community in raising children; and Laura Bush collaborated with daughter Jenna on a picture book about a reluctant reader, with "Read All About It!"

See Mrs. Obama is not the first to write their own books, are you going to complain about Laura Bush and her book? She peddled it from the White House and around the country at tax payer expense.

LOL, the cover up and SPIN for Clinton is well on it's way

cracks me up

Go ahead and play mental masturbation while the real world keeps on spinning.

No matter how you try to spin this, it's a stinging rebuke.

Just last week Obama said this:

(CBS News) President Obama said today that the ongoing discussion over Mitt Romney's record at the private equity firm Bain Capital is "not a distraction" from the serious issues that should be debated in the presidential campaign.

"This is what this campaign is going to be about," the president said at the close of the NATO summit in Chicago.

This week Clinton cuts Obama off at the knees by publicly pronouncing Romney's business record as "Sterling".

Do you think that was unintentional?

Personally I don't think either Hillary or Bill think to much of Barry.

I would venture to say that in his heart of hearts he can't stand the guy and would be very glad if he didn't get that second term. LOL

Love in the fast lane.

Why would they have any love for Obama, he treated Hillary like a peice of shit..
but that's normal for Obama

I've gone back and reread Clinton's words a couple of times and they're rather stunning in a comparable context sort of way.

"There's no question that in terms of getting up and going to the office, and you know, basically performing the essential functions of the office, a man who has been governor and had a sterling business career crosses the qualification threshold."

He's acknowledging two different assets Romney will bring to the job. Management/executive experience he learned as an elected state governor and his management/executive experience garnered during his "sterling" career as a businessman. He' qualified to hold the office of president in the eyes of a former president.

Contrasted of course to Barry's year+ as an active U.S. Senator, former Illinois state senator, college lecturer, and community organizer. Which leaves their only real true selling point is to try to convince enough smart people that voted for him in '08 that he's learned enough in his first term to put him at least on a par with Mitt's experience/qualifications.

A mighty tough sell IMO.
