While that was going on he cheered on Wall Street's invention of mortgage backed derivatives which, in the end, burst the housing bubble. He also cheered on business as they decimated American manufacturing in exchange for obscene executive bonuses.

Then, with the country crashing down all around, he escaped to where he'd spent most of his Presidency, Crawford, Texas, where he hasn't been heard from since.
