Thank you, the first common sense comment I have read in this thread! It is not a success or failure completely, Obama has a mixed record, some of his own mistake and a lot do to political banter on both sides.

Obama is being ignored cause:

1. He doesn't bring a plan to the table.
2. Ends up polarizing instead of compromising.
3. Takes credit for the hard work of others.
4. Keeps thinking the American public doesn't understand the issues.
5. Acts like its all a giant campaign rally.

He had requested and received three draft deferments and then a medical release during the Vietnam War. The question with regard to that, is did he ever claim to be a veteran? If he did, he's a liar and a fraud! If he did not, he's no worse than the rest of the vast majority of Americans who have never served. In any case, shooting the messenger doesn't invalidate the message, Truth, but nice try at an ad hominem deflection anyway. Besides, haven't some of the liberals here pointed out that even a REAL veteran's opinion on political matters carries no special weight?
