The world has always been a brutally nasty place. In America, we are extremely fortunate to have escaped the great wars of the world and nearly all conflict. We have done this, in part, by electing to fight conflicts overseas. We also do this by engaging in "intelligence" activities.

We remain free and privileged because some people do nasty stuff we know little about.

Make no mistake here--without these things being done for us by our military and intelligence services, we would be living much more precarious lives. If you doubt this, take a close look at any middle eastern country . . . China . . . Pakistan . . . any third world nation.

Freedom and progress is assured through brutal strength and determination. The world is not a nice place.

Reagan did not dazzle with his intellect. He did not overachieve through hard work. Reagan was able to look into a TV camera and appeal directly to the voters. Reagan relied on charisma. Even those who hated his policies liked the man

Obama is just straight up better at talking than most other people. I hold no love for him, but I can't help but be amazed at how he can turn anything into whatever he needs it to be. I know it's a standard politician trait to twist words, but Obama was truly a master of it.

Policy wise, I knew that the real difference between Obama and Mittens is the figurehead we have. Our President at any given time is about as useful as the Queen of England. They can offer suggestions at most.
