it shows that the human race has evolved. we used to have may gods, one for each unexplained natural phenomena. Rain gods, Thunder gods, fertility gods etc but as we have evolved and learned we didn't need gods because nature no longer terrified us with its power and mystery.

now we have one god, or I should say most of you believe in one god. and that one god is the answer to the two things that intrigue and terrify us all. How was the universe created and what happens when we die.

When we answer these two questions satisfactorily, people will no longer need god.

So again we created the concept of god and we can make that concept obsolete.
