The worst damage to the inner city is caused by illegal drugs and illegal guns from Mexico.
Mexican drug cartels have caused the people of the US countless harm.
Almost every ounce of heroin, which is destroying the fabric of American society is smuggled in from mexico.

The WALL will not 'fix' the problem but it WILL reduce the amount of drugs and guns significantly.

THEN they are smuggled into the US through a very overworked borders patrol.

Well, Israel built a wall and it has at least ended the car bombing and significantly reduced the terrorist attacks from within their borders.
My solution remains a bit overkill, but would end illegal migrants. Land mine signs (along with land mines) and military troops posted with orders to shoot anyone successfully traversing the land mines. After a few failed and deadly encounters, the illegal crossings would end.

You don't need to cuss, Danny. I appreciate the info, but it sounds like I had a bigger clue than you admit. Sounds like you agree with me that the Wall won't stop the drugs and guns--stopping the cartels/corruption in Mexican government will. Like I already said, build the wall if you want to; it will stop the walkers, which is part of the problem. But only part.
