Why are conservatives so against alternative lifestyles?

First and foremost, I have never claimed to be a conservative. But I am a Christian and I recall Jesus saying that what you do to the least among you, you do to Him.

Your reference to gays as "Sodomites" seeks to dehumanize gays. Since God made people and animals who are gay, don't you think He had a purpose in that? Some Christian religions believe that God made people who are "different" not to test them, but to test us.

You will be judged on the basis of how you treat others. It was the basis of Jesus' teachings. What you do to the least among you, you do to Him.

Jesus was also very clear that people were to abide by the laws of the land, even though His kingdom was not on this earth.

As for your stupid rape analogy, you're not the woman saying "No". You're the asshole saying "I want to do what I want (treat you badly) and you have to let me do it."

Like I said, asshole bigots thinking that not being allowed to be assholes violates THEIR rights, not those of the people whose rights they're denying.

All well and good except the Bible, God's law and word makes it abundantly clear homosexuality is an abomination

You'll never be able to get around that factoid

Except unlike the Koran, the Bible isn't actually God's word, now is it?

Yeah it is dumb ass. You need to stop with your buffoonery, loon. That and I wasnt addressing your stupid ass

Looks like someone's cranky that he got called out on his inaccuracy. Looks like I, a man who is agnostic and doesn't even go to church, knows more about your religion and holy book than you do, friend.

You're an ill informed idiot go thump your chest to someone who gives a shit, toad

Are you a child? You shouldn't be playing on the internet, kid. It'll poison your young, developing mind.

Though judging by your communication skills, it's probably too late for you already.

Shhhhhhh

Jesus never condemned homosexuality, and true Christians are not guided by OT clan-tribal mores of 3500 years ago.

Jesus implicitly condemned homosexuality a number of times, such as every time he upheld the sexual morality of the OT. The NT also explicitly condemns homosexuality in Romans 1 and a few other places. Why don't you read a book if you're going to talk about it?

If you don't give a sh1t about how immoral the homosexual lifestyle is, why would you give a sh1t about the religious teachings of the Bible?

Don't you just love it when bigots try to sell you on the idea that having to treat other people as equals, with the dignity and respect you would show your peers, is somehow a violation of the rights of bigots.

Don't you just love it when people who call themselves freedom-loving conservatives support rape, support coercing people to service the immorality of others? You're an idiot who doesn't know what either conservative or freedom are.

Libtard, forcing others to do anything, let alone your forcing others to follow your libtard concept of equality (different but equal) is not freedom (I treat everyone equally, including objecting to anyone who wants my support for sodomy). Libtard, claiming disguising sodomites deserve dignity and respect is not conservative.

No asshole, you have it backward. Discrimibation is rape.

So, if a man insists on having sex with a woman and she says "no", she's the one guilty of rape? You are a seriously sick, f1cked-up excuse for a human being, libtard.

God's Law is the 10 Commandments, which doesn't so much as mention homosexuality. It condemns liars, thieves, murderers and adulterers, but not homosexuality.

The rest of the Bible was written by men, not by God, and includes passages condoning incest, human sacrifice, stoning adulterers, slavery and other practices that are considered abhorrent today. The continued abuse of homosexuals belongs in the dustbin of time along with the practice of stoning adulterers and blood sacrifice which we also no longer do.

Quote me one passage where Jesus condemns homosexuality. You can't because there isn't one.

Paul, who never even spoke to Jesus while he was alive, condemned homosexuality in his letter to the Corinthians, but there is nothing in Jesus teachings about it.

Jesus condemned sex outside of marriage. Since there was no such thing as same sex marriage in Judaism, there need be no explicit condemnation of homosexuality. There was no explicit condemnation of bestiality or sex with infants either.

Christians consider the whole Bible to the word of God.

And, all modern societies not influenced libtard pseudo-Christianity consider homosexuality ti be abhorrent. That includes all countries not significantly influenced by kind of Christianity. Libtards who approve of homosexuality are in active rebellion against the Bible.

I wonder how much lesbian porn the Bible-thumpers here have on tbeir computers...

Probably not as much as you have. But, what does it matter? Freedom-loving conservatives object to government coercion, not so much what you do in private between consenting adults.

I do not care what evangelical, or fundamentalist, or Pentecostal heretics have to say about Jesus or the OT. These heretics undercut the pronouncements by the way the lives their lives. They are the worst hypocrites of all. They make the Pharisees of the Bible look pure and clean.

You're no Christian

Nope, He did not. In fact, he did not say much about it. Jewish people got married just past puberty in his age, so there was no much pre-marital fooling around going on. He did say that if married one should not get divorced. Welp, half of American Christendom is hell bound on that one.

Sassy is clearly not a true Christian.

Of course conservatives believe in governmental coercion. They are the perfect example of Progressive Big Government Conservatives.

Jesus told the woman at the well to sin no more, condemning her actions.

I agree, half (actually, a quarter) of American Christendom is hell bound on the Divorce. If your spouse leave you, you've done nothing wrong.

But, there aren't any divorce-pride parades nor any laws forcing people to assist others in divorce.

Actually, we're very educated on what the Bible is. It was written by men, inspired by God, but men none the less. Furthermore, the English versions are translations from the original Greek and Hebrew and are subject to differing interpretations.

All modern societies don't reject homosexuals, and quite a few ancient ones didn't either.

Enlightening, intelligent followers of Jesus recall his stopping the adulterer from being stoned to death with the words "Let he who is without sin among you cast the first stone".

The only people Jesus turned his back on were those who feigned loved of God and righteousness, but treated their neighbours badly. Jesus had little patience for the priests and the Pharisees who ruled the synagogues in his time.

Jesus spoke of love, kindness and forgiveness, not shunning, not discrimination, and certainly not the condemnation of others. Jesus was inclusive. He sat with lepers, sinners and the unclean. And He chided those who turned them away.

I think it is Bulletproof who had proven he hasn't even read who He was or what He said.

Conservatives do not care about the alternative lifestyles, they just believe the government should not subsidize those lifestyles.

Although this thread proves the far left does not understand anything outside of their religious dogma.

So is anyone that believes in real science!

Yet also God allowed Satan to roam the Earth to give choice for every human to either follow the will of God or be a follower of Satan. God's way is very hard because to earn your right to heaven, you must go through trials and tribulations, yet achieve God's greatest gifts, "babies". But those followers of Satan, those that turned away from God's word, cant ever have "naturally born" children between the two as 2 men or 2 women aren't what God wanted but Satan definitely did. Even today the liberals "MURDER" 33,000 born and unborn babies(God's gifts) a month, another command by Lucifer because it is Lucifer who wants to see the innocent butchered in such an inhumane way. So continue to follow Satans(Lucifers) Rules and when it is time , when you end up in hell, don't be surprised. Even Ted Kennedy sought forgiveness for his sins, when he killed Mary Joe, at his deathbed.

Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals
Opening page - Dedication
“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history... the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”
