Johnson is a proponent of single subject spending bills. That is by far the most sensible way to fund government.

There are 12 proposed single subject bills, each funding different areas of government. The defense bill should pass right away with strong support from Democrats who have shown so much concern For The soldiers sure to starve if there is another shut down.

Homeland security might be a tougher sell unless Mayorkas does the right thing. Same for DOJ with Garland in charge.

I liked Matt Gaetz until this latest bone head move. McCarthy wasn't perfect but I think being so much better than Pelosi was made up for that and he's far better than Hakeem Jeffries or someone else on the other side would be.
