- Prisoners are just a factor in the equation to support Prison Guard Unions. Such unions funnel tons-o-campaign contributions into Dem coffers. Hence the need to have more and more prisoners to justify growth in the Prison Industry. The prison population is highly weighted to minorities who are part of the Racist Grievance machine...so they receive special privileges.

- GITMO prisoners are poster victims of the Multicultural Grievance Industry, hence they must be pampered.

- Vets, on the other hand, have already made their contributions to The State, and are disposable to the Big Government types.

I'd put Walmart or the USMC in charge of the VA. The problem is the VA is run by people who consider the Muslim Brotherhood our friends but veterans are "right-wing extremists"
