WHO Declares Large Ebola Outbreaks as the New Normal
6/10/2019 ~ By Leslie Eastman
We have followed the outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo for over six months. Officials have reported nearly 3,000 cases of the hemorrhagic disease. However, the actual number of infected Congolese may be a third higher than figures show, experts have warned... Public health officials have also indicated this particular outbreak could last as long as two years.(Ebola outbreak may last up to 2 years, WHO says | TheHill)... Meanwhile, Texas officials scrambled this week to find French speaking volunteers to help with 350 Congolese migrants arriving in the state.
"We didn't get a heads up," Interim Assistant City Manager Dr. Colleen Bridger told KEN 5 after a group of 350 Congolese migrants arrived in the city unexpectedly. "When we called Border Patrol to confirm, they said, 'yea another 200 to 300 from the Congo and Angola will be coming to San Antonio.'" (350 Congolese Migrants Arrive in San Antonio)

As I understand it Law enforcement officers in California have come down with Typhus, Typhoid Fever, Measles and other exotic diseases seldom seen in America for the past 60 years. It's not just the homeless problem. The main problem is the unchecked illegal immigration from the Southern Central American countries. The major reasons for immigration control is to prevent the spread of diseases from other countries. Now we not only have illegal aliens coming from Central America but now people from Africa and China (and who knows where else) crossing our southern border through Mexico. When the next national pandemic hits who will the MSM blame?
Surely according to the Progressive Marxist Socialists/DSA Democrats in Congress, we shouldn't expect people to give up their "Constitutional right" to come to America by any means just because they are highly contagious with a deadly diseases, can you?
Biological threats on the level of the Ebola virus are indifferent to politics. Isn’t one of the fundamental responsibilities of the national government to safeguard the public health? How on earth could ANY sane person advocate the admittance of illegal aliens from known infectious locales without taking even the MINIMAL steps to protect the host population?–public health, especially regarding as lethal a threat as Ebola, is not an area where we can afford even a “minor” mistake

There is a vaccine for it.

Then why hasn't it been effective in the Congo?
Necrophilia..

I want to know the answer to that too!

Simple answer is that viruses mutate and change. Like the Flu.

Viruses with genomes composed of RNA, like the Ebola virus, have especially high mutation rates. As it turns out, some other of these RNA viruses also pose a great threat to human health, including the influenza viruses, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), Hepatitis C virus (HCV) and the measles virus.

It has to do with a certain portion of population not taking the vaccine.

Because a certain portion of the population, in the west, refused it.

One of my links talked about it-
But that has not happened. Instead, in a region where one in four people is convinced that Ebola is “not real” and that the medical response is a scam by those in power to keep humanitarian aid flowing to the government, villagers have been hiding from World Health Organization contact tracers, while militias have been firebombing Ebola treatment centres, impeding the work of vaccination teams.

The result is that Ebola appears to be spreading under the radar and it is not known when the outbreak, which has already killed 751 people, might end. Most alarming of all, last Wednesday, the WHO reported 20 new cases of Ebola, the highest single day total of the outbreak. Two were workers at Butembo airport, a short plane ride from Kisangani, the DRC’s third largest city, with a population of 1.6 million. It is little wonder that the WHO held an emergency meeting on Friday to express its “grave concern” that the outbreak might be poised to follow the same pattern as the one that began in Guinea in 2014 and which eventually spread to five countries in west Africa and cost more than11,300 lives.
