You and I disagree on the role 'degeneracy' played in forwarding the Nazi cause. I believe that for the people it was all economic..and a matter of Teutonic pride. Marxism is dead....If you wish an enemy to rail against..Fabian Socialism is far more prevalent..and far more effective. In a way, the rise of the alt-right should have been expected... People like to call them neo nazis, most won't embrace that title...but there are similarities between Weimar Germany to how depraved our culture here in America is today. Not only that, but the same people that influenced that degeneracy in Germany back then were some of the same people who influenced the degeneracy here. We should have never taken in the Frankfurt Schoolers and gave them top teaching positions in our top universities. We should have let Hitler kill them. What did we get for thanks for saving them. They spread their cultural Marxist filth here. Only God knows why that stupid move was made.Well is tough for some...you see--being anti-fascist can only be a good thing..in theory. Hating racism and racists is a no-brainer for most of America---they don't get that antifa is both more and less than what they think it is. I encourage my friends to express their distaste for certain political stands at the ballot box..and explain to them..that going into the streets is grandiose and unproductive. The reason I started siding with the alt-right is because they are the only ones willing to stand up to antifa and their enablers. Conservatism is dead, they have bought the leftist line, hook and sinker. Mitt Romney actually praised antifa for Pete's sake.Yeah...they killed all the 'State will wither away' guys early in the Revolution. Trotsky and his ilk. Really, The USSR was a case study on how culture trumps ideology. They replaced The Czar with the General Secretary..and the Duma with the Politburo--but for the serf/peasant/worker--it was always..same as it ever was. They're commies, sometimes they'll call themselves anarchists instead...but that's kind of redundant....since actualized communism is supposed to be a stateless society anyway, according to Marxist theory.I'll be hornswoggled..you got it right...Antifascists ARE Communists! They are polar opposites. Communists and Fascists are natural enemies. Good to see someone get it right....instead of trying to push that tired lie that Communists/Socialists are Fascists.
I complement you on your acumen.
But the anarchistic philosophy of Bakunin and Molotov----never went away...the Black Bloc and other anarchist organizations ride the antifa movement like a tick on a dog.
