Yup, that's exactly why the libs were all pulling for John McCain in the last primary. He was hands down the most liberal candidate running.

Romney is getting some votes in this thread too, but I think he would have a much tougher time than Newt in a debate against Obama because he has more in his resume that Obama could use against him.
