When the recession starts, how quickly will republicans/Fox News blame it entirely on democrats?

It’s the same dumb, baseless logic they used when the recession of 2008 started. The Dems won an election therefore it was all their fault. Never mind the fact that the recession ended 6 months into Obama’s first term when Dems had full control. Republicans seem to lack any sort of nuance when it comes to economics. They just blame democrats. It sounds good and it doesn’t challenge them to think critically as always.

And no, for the record, I don’t blame Trump for the upcoming recession. Granted his retarded tariff war with China will make it worse, but the recession would have occurred regardless of who won the election.

So when the recession does happen (and it’ll be soon), will it be the tired logic of it all being the Dems fault and not all Trump’s? Timing is all republicans need to reason with I guess.

Pelosi, Reid, Trump and the Governors of every State like Texas and California should be blamed...

Do you understand that?

Also seeing the recession ended six months after Obama took office then Bush, Pelosi, Reid and the State Governors should get credit and not Obama but you will disagree and scream Obama saved the WORLD !!!

When the recession starts
It’s the same dumb, baseless logic

Hey Double Dipshit,
What now, have you finally come down to asking how to blame republicans for things that aren't even happening?

LMAO We can all see by dipshits post he's hoping for a recession. Talk about an idiot.

He doesn't care what a recession will do. He only wants something he can blame on Trump.

What a piss ant prick.

They don't scare me, not in the least. No, I'm not being smug and elitist, I'm a product of the recession of the 70's when my dad got laid off and brought back, laid off and brought back, let go completely from one place only to be re employed at the "good" job for all of 3 months or so and then let go again.

We'd go from steak to generic food bought with food stamps back to steak to one night digging a squirrel out of the freezer that'd been there a while and eating it.

All I knew was no how no way was I gonna depend on any company or an economy that fluctuates to feed ME as I got older but still wasn't sure what to do even after going in the Army for school money but one day I saw the commercial and it clicked, heating and air, because the weather is not tied to the economy.

No matter what happens it's going to get cold this winter, and people will pay me to keep them warm, I hadn't even thought about the demands of AC season, but I knew we could be in the deepest depression this winter and there will STILL be people willing to pay me to fix it.

There's plusses and minuses in everything in life, I still wish I would have gotten an engineering degree but that's what my upbringing, back when unemployment ran out quick and food stamps were a stigma to be used as infrequently as you had to be in line with your head down, it spurred me to do better and never have to deal with those conditions again.

Today everyone whines when their EBT card doesn't buy filet mignon too, it's not fair, so they need to be allowed to do that as well as need a little bump in pay, they WOULD like some dessert to go with that fine meal too, just like everyone else, you don't want to stygmatize them do you?

Yes, yes I do.

There is no growth without a little pain, and a little motivation from outside forces making you do what you don't want to do, but feel better for yourself afterward for having done.

The economy will cycle down, as it always does. There are already some troubling signs, and as we know, the Fed has said it's ready to drop rates to deal with it.

Either way, when it happens, it will be the fault of Obama and Hillary. Or Hillary and Obama. And the commies.

The national gas price average increased five cents to $2.74 a gallon this week and is eight cents more than the same time last year, according to data from AAA. The rate is 28 cents higher versus a month ago.Apr 8, 2019

The Obama recession that President Trump inherited?

Critics of quantitative easing should consider the alternative | Barry Eichengreen
Thus, when the next recession hits, central banks will again be forced to resort to quantitative easing. QE4, if we can call it that, will elicit howls of protest from the critics of previous rounds of QE, who warned that central banks were exceeding their mandates. By purchasing mortgage-backed securities and corporate bonds, the detractors complained, central banks were distorting financial markets.
It is okay for me, I have plenty of gold and silver and ammunition for the next recession. Thanks Obama.

Obama is the greatest gun salesman in America
President Obama has proven, once again, that he's the greatest gun salesman in America.

Maybe you never noticed gas prices always go up during the summer because (gasp) most people travel during the summer which means more demand. Could it possibly be that a fire in a refinery lately means less gasoline on the market in certain areas? No not in hate Trump world at least.

Isn't that the reason we became energy independent?? You know I thought it was to become cheaper, so the states could add taxes to fix the roads, due to the republicans do not want to pay for infrastructure.

They will blame Obama
Just like they blamed the Great Bush Recession of 2008 on Clinton

Because road maintenance costs more in states that have cold winters
How many potholes do you have in the spring?

OMG, what recession?? The Fed is going to lower rates for the foreseeable future. If Trump and Xi can make ANY kind of reasonable agreement to avert an all out Trade War the economies will roar. If there is a Trade War there may be a slowdown, but I'm not sure there will be a recession, i.e. 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth. The stock market is setting records.
So this thread is baseless...
